About Washay: Washay is an AI-powered content creation platform designed to help African creators generate scripts, manage content workflows, and build their professional creator identity.
Eligibility: You must be at least 18 years old to use Washay. By using the App you confirm that you meet this requirement.
Your Account: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at hello@washay.app if you suspect unauthorised access.
Connected Social Accounts
Washay allows you to connect your TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook accounts to enable content publishing and performance insights. By connecting these accounts you authorise Washay to access and display your account information and publish content on your behalf only when you explicitly initiate a publishing action.
We access only the data necessary to provide the features you use. We do not share your social account data with third parties or use it for advertising purposes.
AI-Generated Content
Washay uses artificial intelligence to generate video scripts and content suggestions. You acknowledge that:
AI-generated content is provided as a starting point and may require editing before use
You are solely responsible for reviewing content before publishing
Washay does not guarantee that AI-generated content is accurate, original, or free from errors
Acceptable Use
You agree not to use Washay to:
Create or publish content that is illegal, harmful, abusive, or discriminatory
Violate the intellectual property rights of others
Attempt to reverse engineer, hack, or disrupt the platform
Use automated scripts or bots to access the platform
Impersonate any person or entity
Intellectual Property
Washay and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Washay and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of all content you create using the platform.
Privacy
Your use of Washay is also governed by our Privacy Policy, available at washay.app/privacy-policy. By using Washay you consent to the data practices described in our Privacy Policy.
Termination
Washay reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting hello@washay.app.
Disclaimer of Warranties
Washay is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
Changes to Terms
